Sonya Godley is an experienced child and adolescent Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Sonya has 20 + years past and current experience working with children, young people and families in a variety of health, education and local government settings.
Sonya has experience of working with children, young people and their families with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties using individual and group interventions. She is experienced with working with children of all ages and supporting parents and carers. She also has experience of working with children and young people who have attachment difficulties and who have experienced abuse and/or trauma.
Sonya is Programme Director on the UCL/Anna Freud Child Wellbeing Practitioner PG Diploma course.
Sonya facilitates individual and group CBT consultation to a range of professionals on behalf of The Anna Freud Centre.
You and/or your child will be offered a warm and friendly space in which you/they can feel safe to talk and work on finding more helpful ways to manage current difficulties.
